The inaugural Tavs Tas BIG Quiz delivers without question.

Over 100 of our Members and supporters attended the first Tav’s Big Quiz organised by the Tasmanian Branch and held recently at the Blundstone Arena Function Centre.

In what as a very close contest all evening the winning team “The Happy Wanderers” held off several strong challenges to win the Big Prize.

Comments from those attending were very positive and praised the challenging and fun quiz questions together with the organisation of the event. One summed it up best as a “great night out for an extremely worthy cause.”

With such great feedback, there’s no question that the BIG Quiz will be back even bigger next year when we look forward to welcoming and entertaining more of our Tavs friends joining us to raise much needed funds to provide a “Sporting Chance” to young athletes in need of support.

BIG Thanks to all who attended, our many generous sponsors and donations made to the raffle, auction and individuals on the night.

The off-spinning, middle-order dasher shone for the Tigers at the underage championships, which wrapped up on Friday and was rewarded for his performances with a spot alongside some of the best emerging talents in the country. Seven players who hold state rookie contracts have been named in the 15-man squad, which will head to New Zealand next month for the three-week tournament.
