Tim Paine “Leaving for Lord’s” Farewell Event was truly an exclusive-inclusive experience to remember.
Taverners Tasmania is privileged to have the support of many legendary names in sport. This very exclusive, though inclusive event, witnessed our Australian Cricket Captain Tim Paine interviewed by Brent Costello and also Alan ‘Dingo’ Danga who travelled down from Launceston with New Horizon’s CEO Belinda Kitto for the occasion.
The appreciative audience were tuned into an insightful conversation about the inner workings of the team as they prepare to embark on another Ashes mission to bring back the famous Urn.
Special guest interviewer, ‘Dingo’, in his unique and confident style, blended the conversation with inclusive cricket values as Captain of our Tasmanian ID Inclusive Cricket Team. Captain to Caption – a true exchange and kinship between athletes of a unique nature in the cricket landscape.
Taverners appreciated teaming up with Cricket Tasmania to create this fitting farewell for Tim and a chance to experience the intimate setting of the Chairman’s Lounge at Blundstone Arena. Big thanks to Brent Costello also – a great friend of Taverners and we appreciate his expert skills in delivering a sports event experience.
Andrew Gaggin, Cricket Tasmania Chair, gave a farewell reminder, that Tim is yet to score 50 at Lords. Though surprisingly, Ricky Ponting never scored 50 at Lords, our very own Ben Hilfenhaus reached that mark on a previous tour. No pressure Tim – we all wish you the very best and good luck on your mission!
