Robert Bilyk

Robert’s working career has had a focus on economic analysis, customer relationship management and contract negotiation with government and Government Business enterprises.
As his family grew up, he was able to devote more time to his community interests. He has had a long standing interest in giving young people the opportunity to reach their full potential. Testament to this passion is his community work, which has included supporting newly arrived families to Tasmania and helping their children of all ages and the disadvantaged access opportunities otherwise denied to them.
Robert has served on the Tavs Tas Board for eight years in a number of roles, most recently being unanimously elected as Chair.
He feels privileged to represent the Tavs and work with other community Organisations to give young people and the disadvantaged opportunities to enjoy sport, fulfill their potential and live enjoyable and successful lives.
Robert’s primary responsibilities are as Chair, governance, relationship manager, funding request assessments as well as driving the strategic direction of our Tavs Tas branch while liaising with other branches and the National Executive.
