Lord’s Taverners support the National Blind Cricket Carnival and broader development programs.
Support also extends to the Australian team, that toured England recently to compete against the ‘old Country’ with the same passion and purpose you’d expect from our national contracted players. The Australian Blind Cricket Carnival (The Championships) are conducted bi-annually and are held in States by rotation around Australia. In January 2016, the Lord’s Taverners Australia presented a cheque for $30,000 to Ray Moxley, President of Blind Cricket Australia.
As with similar National programs that have a relevance to our Tasmanian community, LTT will continue to support with proportionate funding along with other State Branches to make this program sustainable.
